Privacy Policy

OpenHouse Connect helps listing agents find qualified agents to host their open houses. This policy explains what information the OpenHouse Connect app and website collect, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, phone number, brokerage and license number, and your password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Host information: qualification exam answers and scores, preferred areas, bio, years of experience, languages and an optional profile picture.
• Open house information: addresses, times, photos, property details, notes and access instructions added by listing agents.
• Visitor sign-ins: when a visitor signs in at an open house on the host's phone, we store the first name they enter and, if they choose, their last name, email, phone number and group size.
• Activity: visitor counts and feedback logged by hosts, open house summaries, seller reports and ratings.
• Device information: a push notification token, so we can send you notifications you turned on.
• Support messages you send through our support page.

We do not use advertising identifiers, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell personal information.

How we use information

• To run the service: match open houses with qualified hosts, notify people, show live visitor counts and prepare reports.
• To let the host follow up with visitors who signed in.
• To keep the service secure and to respond to support requests.

Who can see what

• Visitor sign-ins are visible only to the host who ran that open house. They are not shared with the listing agent; the listing agent sees how many visitor groups came, without names or contact details.
• Access instructions are shown only to the selected host.
• Seller reports include the number of visitors and groups, never visitors' names or contact details.
• Hosts' names, profile pictures, ratings and experience are shown to listing agents choosing a host.

Service providers

We use Vercel to host the service, Neon to store data, and Apple Push Notification service to deliver notifications. They process information only to provide these services to us. The website uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies.

Keeping and deleting information

• We keep your information while your account is active.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile ▸ Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and, for listing agents, your open houses with their photos, visitor sign-ins and reports.
• If you signed in as a visitor at an open house and want your details removed, ask the host or contact us.

Security

Information is sent over encrypted connections, passwords are stored as secure hashes, and access to open house details is limited by role.

Children

OpenHouse Connect is for real estate professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
